Call me lazy but I am already aware of this. I pretty much copy/pasted what I just wrote on my DA journal because I don't feel like retyping or repeating myself so here it is!

Fanime is my favorite convention in California... I love it so much! This year though was different... I had fun but not as much as I usually do. It had some perks, like being in Ackson's videos >.

I'm the worst blogger ever. I've barely given blogger any attention what so ever. I apologize AGAIN. I also apologize for the long wait you'll be having after this post too....

Fanime is a week away and I am slightly freaking out. Just slightly. Nothing is 100 complete. Oh wait--I LIED. Bridget is complete....except for the wig thing I'm not sure which one I'll use... I have the choice of my own or a friend of mine. I like the color of hers but I like how mine has the right bangs. *Sigh* Choices, choices.......

I'll be taking Kai, Agitha, Rikku and Bridget to Fanime so yaaay! I have some photoshoots lined up.....and I am excited! I feel a bit anxious but like last time it'll subside once I see all the awesome costumes and people *~* Ahhhh I just always have fun at conventions! w000t.~ I hope to see some of you there :)

Sorry for never posting. I kind of just got off track and forgot about blogger. I have a tumblr now too. (SheikChan.tumblr.com).

Only news is I have a lot planned for Fanime and so I've been working on it, especially while the Playstation Network has been down! Fortunately, that REALLY helps me with working on stuff besides playing games with friends online xD!!

Hi guys!

AOD was pretty fun and all but I spent most of my time inside the malls and our hotel room more than the actual con itself. So I can't really judge on how fun the convention itself was... but whatever! My friends and I won best presentation runner up which was surprising and cool at the same time. We worked hard for that dang skit and it was our first time doing a voice recording so we're so glad it came out well! ^~^;

Next up in line is Fanime. The con I have been waiting for. I love it more than Anime Expo I think and I've been to AX 3 times already and Fanime only 2 times! Heh. I don't know, it's not too crowded but it's definitely not empty. I love the hotels being close and the weather. I also love the friends I've made there, the swap meet, the raves, the atmosphere, the convention center. Anime Expo was great at Anaheim but the Staples center is a bit too long and I end up doing more walking than I'd like to :[ So that deducted points off of AX for me. STILL I love it but Fanime comes first to me....so far :D

I have big plans this year too so I'm going to be busy busy busy! I can't say some of what I'll be doing but I will say it's going to be awesome *~* I'll add a cosplay line-up photo or whatever to this so you can see what I'll be taking. For now I think I will sleep. I am tired....good night you guyyyzzz !!

AOD 2011 . San Francisco.

Hey thar~

Yay, Sheik actually is posting something in this long forgotten blog of hers! How rude of her to have temporarily abandon it. My apologies though. I've been busy and lazy at the same time soooo my top priorities *cough* Ps3, costuming,facebook* have been taking over. Oh and work too. Yeah, work.... I'm doing fine though! ^-^; Some personal stuff kind of went on too but not bad stuff. I'm sure some of you already read my other blog and are caught up!

Soooooooo.........AOD. I'm going to Animation On Display in like 2 weeks. It's an anime convention held at the Kabuki Hotel in Japantown, San Francisco here in Cali. It's a fun con because there's nice people, the hotel is pretty and the underground mall is like right there. It's so fun going to the cute little Japanese shops in your costume. Hehe. Sometimes it weirds the older Japanese people out but you'd think they'd be use to it! Maybe they're weirded out because we're American? Is weirded even a word? My spellchecker disagrees but sometimes it underlines words that are completely acceptable. In any case. I'm going to this con and I'm excited. I just need to actually finish my costumes.

I've decided to go as Ayame Sohma in a maid outfit "he made" and Mai from Avatar. My friends are going as Avatardz so I was like "I'll join!" Let's just hope I can afford the fabric. I'll probably go out to JoAnn's sometime soon to get it. I think today I'll work on my dress.

Also Rikku, Agitha and Bridget are OFFICIAL costumes I'll be taking to Fanime in May. I have started working on the new ones. Agitha will be touched up!

Eee..I got to go potty! I guess I'm done writing now. :D TOODLES.

Meh. Some of you may have seen my post about redoing Rikku's top. Well it's true. I've worked on it and fixed things but there's still mistakes and it's inaccurate. ;~; I really want to do well on this costume so I want it to be accurate. I will do as well as I can and with what I can afford.

Aside from that I've been good. My Christmas was great, my new years was alright.. lol...and I've been spending lots of time with Robby.

I'm excited for AOD next month~ I haven't worked on my costume for it yet though and I need a wig, so I'll have to buy it soon X_X

Uuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm........Ya I don't know. I guess I'm not in a blogging mood. I just felt bad that I've neglected this thing. I've been playing a lot of PS3 games and my new DS game, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. Hehe....yah..I'm a cosplayer but I'm also a gamer?

......Sooooo you guys ever sit around and view cosplay pictures of other cosplayers and you get super pumped up to work on your own costume..? BUT as soon as you sit down with some of your fabric (or all) you get this overwhelming feeling and decided you don't want to work on it anymore?

I get that. A lot. I think I'd have more costumes done if it weren't for that feeling. Sometimes though I don't feel like working on anything so I force myself...and then I go into sewing mode and can't stop working! D: I just don't get it!!!!!!!!! -cries-

Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. I guess I could work on some tonight and tomorrow... but I think I want to play a little Harvest Moonz ;~; I'm such a horrible cosplayer....a lazy one, a real lazy one! If it's such a passionate hobby of mine, wouldn't I be doing it more? I guess I'm not passionate enough. FAIL. D:

This is how I take in challenging costumes on my own. I may not be as experienced as I want, but the only way to get experienced is to experience right?

I'm really excited about my Rikku costume. The trainer dressphere is not cosplayed enough. Then again I always love cosplaying costumes that aren't as cosplayed much. Hehe. Anyway, I'm taking the costume slowly and I admit I get lazy. BUT I do have almost all the fabric I'll need for it. Almost. I need to buy some RIT dye though for some of it. Rikku has this thing about her costumes where she has a lot of pieces that fade from yellow to orange.... ah well.

If you're wondering about my Sheik costume... I've kind of put her on hold. I haven't found any fabric that will work with the dark blue I got at Wal-mart so I might need to buy some at JoAnn's and just start over! Fun stuff, but it's worth it. I want Sheik to come out as well as I can make it on the first or second try...lol.

I bought vinyl. I'm a bit worried. I've heard it kind of gets tricky making outfits out of Vinyl material but I think I am up to the challenge. I like challenges---sort of.

So I abused JoAnn's sale and bought 5 different types of fabric for the price of $24! I still need fabric for my Rikku and Sheik costumes but I got some to work on Rikku's outfit. I had NO luck with finding a good stretchy blue for Sheik. I might have to start over and get new fabric for the whole body suit part so I can find the right blues together. ;__; Siiiiigh I bought that bolt at Wal-Mart risking this issue and it happened. Oh well, you learn from your mistakes!

I'm super excited to work on all my costumes but even MORE excited to see my fiance this Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhh I have someone to help me with my props whenever I run into a random problem at home. ^-^; Yeah, I don't know..I'm so excited though. He's like my best friend, which is good I guess considering I'll be marrying him. :] We both like to work on things alone..so when we're in the room working on stuff it's kind of quiet and relaxing. We get a lot done. So he won't be too much of a distraction... Maaaaybe at first since I haven't seen him in 7 months lol but...yeah. I'm just excited.

In any case. I can't wait to get more RIkku progress done but until he arrives I'm going to keep the room clean ;__; Yeah..I don't feel good right now, my tummy is acting up so I'm going to go now.

So. JoAnn's is having a sale this week because of Veteran's day! I mean, some of the items that aren't on sale should be but whatever...I'll be happy with what I can get! Today it was gloomy and raining so I went with Kailey to JoAnn's. We bought some fabric. I didn't buy all I need because I NEED A LOT but I bought some stuff to work on which made me happy.

I bought some fabric for my Rikku and Bridget costume. Yay~ I know, my costumes keep changing. I think the costumes I REALLY want to work on for the first half of next year are going to be (in all honesty):

Sheik Progress Yay!

I'm sorry Fado but I cannot break bread with you any longer. =_= I mean...you will be sent to the end of the list right now. I'm just upset with how my "tunics" come out. I suck at them. I FAIL and I hate it. So I don't want to work on Fado for a long time.

What does this mean, Miss Sheik?

This means Miki takes his place. Yay! I've been saving so many pictures of her so I can have all the right angles for the best references. I REALLY adore her outfit and voice. She's just so cute. I'm pretty excited for this costume. I've decided I would love to take her to AOD along with Sheik and Lavi. :] I know I'd love for Squalo to go as well but I'm not so sure I'll have enough time to cosplay as him during the whole 2 days of AOD. It's a sad thought, but a true one at that. I think I will work on Squalo after AOD because I'd love to take him to Fanime.

Right now I'm having trouble finding the perfect wig for Miki. Her hair color is always a little different in the pictures I have but it looks to me like it's an orange with like a hint of red or pink in there. It's a lovely color and I DID find a wig that could work but I lost the bid for it and so I am still looking. UGH. Oh well, I will find it.

OH YEAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I purchased something AMAZINGLY AMAZING the other night and I won't tell what it is until it comes in the mail. I will take one photo and post it online. I'm super excited about it too. It was a nice handful of monies but I had to. I don't regret it at all. Not one bit. :D

Anyway, I said I'd go like 20 mins ago on facebook so I am going now.

I had sworn I would NEVER EVER EVER cosplay a vocaloid and guess what happened? I FOUND HER. Freakin' SF-A2 Miki, a new vocaloid from another program. She's so adorable. I love her hair (aside from the fact that long wigs suck..) and I ADORE her little cyber outfit. Her voice is kind of raspy in some songs and I love it. She's just too cute and after listening to a lot of vocaloid songs and attempting to learn the famous Love*Joy song I've come to accept the fact that I will indeed be cosplaying as a vocaloid. XD I'm sorry if I have disappointed any of my followers. Ah, I can't wait to be a cute little singing robot girl.~

Ahem. Aside from that I will be pulling out some fabric for my Sheik costume and working on it soon. Perhaps even tomorrow. I REALLY want to and need to. I don't know why I have been slacking ;__; AGHHHH. In anycase I think I'll add one of my favorite songs of Miki and then say good night. :3

I haven't written in this blog for like 24 days! Uaaagh. I wrote in my personal blog yesterday but it had been a while since I had written in that one too. A lot of happened since I got my job. Personal stuff and some cosplay progress.

I think I'll stick to sharing the cosplay progress right now...

I worked on my Luxray costume and it's like..70% completed! I'm still unsure of what wig I will use. I don't want to get a new one just for it so I might borrow a friends black wig, three of my friends have them...so I'll see once I'm finished with the costume.

I also worked on Fado, but the whole costume makes me mad. I don't like dealing with it..it makes me mad, the sight of it angers me! Okay, not angers..but I get irritated. :[ In anycase, I have tons of costumes I want done and now with the job..I have no excuse! I need to work on stuff, I just get lazy and hardly feel motivated at all. .__.; I also miss someone very special and I don't know when I'll hear from them.Bleh.p00p.....

I worked on my Luxray costume the other day! It's coming out better than I thought. I had some mistakes here and there but it was a learning experience. Every (or almost every) costume I make has something new I have not done before on it. I think that's the best way to learn. :]

I haven't started on my Sheik costume but I did find some wigs that I really like. Specifically this one. I think it's a beautiful color and looks a bit cartoony which I want! The thing I'm having a problem with is the body suit. I was thinking of buying a pattern to make the base but I found none. Is it because they don't make them...or is it because I should just make the outfit in pieces? I was hoping to make one bodysuit and then add the different colors/shapes on top. But now I'm thinking I might just have to make my own pattern and make it all in pieces. I looked at some other Sheik cosplayers and there's a few I really like but no one has done the feet as accurate as I want to make mine. Maybe because it gets complicate? I don't really know. All I know is it makes me want to cosplay Sheik even more! It must be the competitive spirit I sometimes have. I want to be REALLY good, not to "Show people up" but because I loooove Sheik sooo much and am a huge Zelda fan. I want to show that in my costume. :]

Anyway, if any of you have any tips for me please feel free to leave a comment. I'd love any type of input. Also---I want to find the perfect red contacts eventually! ^___^; I just got to find a safe spot. I doubt my eye doctor will have red contacts just layin' around. People tend to lean toward blue and green contacts. XD Heheheheh.

Oh! I hope my friends have fun at Sac Anime. I stayed home and I'm okay with it actually~

Sheik Got the Job!

Yes I did. I got the job! I'm super happy to be working now. I will be earnin' my money and earning experience working with children.. eep!
It's going to be an adventure but I definitely need to grow up.

So on the topic of cosplay since this IS suppose to be my "nerdism" blog... I have been really leaning toward cosplay OOT Sheik again. I mean I never let the dream go. I just really think I am ready to make it. I have avoided spandex for a few reasons but I might...just might..cheat and work off an already made zentai suit. I don't know. It depends. I won't work with shiney. At least I'm hoping I can avoid it. :[ Any thoughts on this?

I really love Sheik. Obviously. So I want everything accurate. I will look for the perfect wig and I will get my eyes checked eventually for good contacts so that I can have the red eyes.
I even want to start stretching and perfecting cartwheels so I can do some awesome photo posin'.
I LOVE SHEIK. YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND. It must be perfect. Or close to that. ;__; She is just an awesome character. Yes, I refer to Sheik as a female. :P

On another note, I started playing Spirit tracks again. It's pretty fun and cute. Kind of annoying dealing with that..tower thing but uh aside from sneaking around bad guys, it's fun. :] I haven't been playing Harvest Moon as much but I'm in Winter of the first year and Julius has NOT asked me out. =__= How will I ever get married at this rate? I've given him soooo many presents and he only has 3 hears meaning we're just friends. This game made becoming more than friends way harder than it really is. Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree...seeing as he loves perfume, roses and pumpkins but I dunno. I might have a chance! AHEM.

But ah..yeah. I posted a new video on my youtube today. You can check it out if you'd like. I think I will go now though. My tummy hurts. ;___;

A Day at the Park in Cosplay!

International Cosplay Day. It was fun! Only a few of us were able to attend but we still had lots of fun just goofing around. We had a few stares but there was this one guy who walked by and was like, "Nice cosplay!" and we were like "..... oh....thanks!!!" We weren't expecting anyone to know what we were doing because we live in such a "Small-hick-town"...kind of place. XD Yeah.....I mean I live in Hyrule.-cough-

In anycase! It was fun. We played in the playground area, took pics and made videos. I was going to upload a video but my computer was having issues with the program and was refusing to export the edited movie. ;__; So I can't upload it to youtube yet!!! Made me mad. I wanted it up last night. I'll try again though. I'm sorry. :[

I also texted quite a handful of people wishing them to have a happy International Cosplay Day!! Unfortunately my fiance doesn't cosplay so he said he wasn't celebrating it. I think he gets jealous of cosplay since it takes lots of time and money away... I don't know. He's a very inward person so dressing up + pictures are not his thing. XD It's fine....my friends were lots of fun and hilarious. But uh yeah. What did you guys do yesterday? Did you all dress up? :]

I can say I'm rather excited about tomorrow. I haven't been in cosplay out in public for quite some time, especially not here in this tiny town. I know people will look at us but we don't care! We love to express our individuality and creativity! Nothing wrong in that and no harm either.

I know my friend Kay-chan will be going as Shigure. She's working on the Kimono tonight! Talk about over night cosplay! w00t. I think Ne-chan will be Noodle from the Gorillaz~ I'm not sure who else is going. My sis might join us but she doesn't have a costume. I gave her some suggestions but I don't know....if anything she likes taking photos (she's the one who does my photoshoots) so she can at least get some nice shots of us. ^___^;

Well, I should get back to working on the ears....I'll update tomorrow on how it goes. Hope you all have FUN TOMORROW!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the lame-o caps! I'm freaking out. Okay not freaking, but I am reaaaaaallly NOT sure who to cosplay as for "International Cosplay Day".

I have a few options in mind but I don't know. I kind of just want to make one before Friday. I think that's a bit insane though considering there's only 2 days before Friday. Ugh. Why did I wait this late?

I think my friends and I are going to get into our costumes and hit up a burger joint or something then probably take pictures / make videos for the heck of it because of the "holiday". I think it's going to be fun and neat! ^__^; Tonight I hung out with some of my friends. It has been a while but it was nice. Although we have a nice handful of differences, we have cosplay that is usually the main topic. Actually, it's all we talk about. Or mostly what we talk about. I'm fine with not talking about cosplay though... I mean I've been fine knowing I'm not really working on anything. Perhaps once I start having an income I will jump into some crazy projects. I don't want lots of simple costumes. I want epic costumes. Costumes that scream "I TOOK A LOT OF TIME BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!" XD Ahhh perhaps it is the artist in me.

Anyway, I'm pretty tired now. I think I will sleep. Let me know if you'd like to see me in a certain costume.......

Keepin' busy.

So I'm just chillin' at my laptop that I have set on the bar counter with a little fan blowing in my general direction. It's nice to be able to just relax again.
EEEEEEEEEEEEE.....My mom just started the blender and it startled me XD SO MUCH FOR RELAXATION.... Nah, I don't mind. She's blending up ice and frozen Orange juice to make orange slushies for us. They're really good! ^_____^;;

I can say that today went well for me. I went to church and talked with Kailey's mom about a job that I'm thinking I have a REALLY good chance at getting. I already have her recommendation and I've been a Christian all my life so I am way comfortable sharing about the Lord with the kids. Oh yeah! I didn't mention the job earlier did I? Yeah. It's basically this intern job where I will be a leader for this kids program at the church called KidMo. I will be making sure lesson plans are planned out, help plan out games and lead the children around. I'll also tell them stories from the Bible whenever other leaders aren't able to be there. I'll be on "level one" for a while so I won't be doing TOO much but I will be paid! I'm so happy to be getting my foot in the door. I've been jobless since I took a break from school. This means I can go back to school next semester. I refuse to take out loans so maybe I can get some financial aid too. The job won't pay a lot, it's part time but for now it's experience and such. Never thought I'd be working with kids but a job is a job and I've been praying about this! ^_^;

What else did I do today... well I helped babysit my little cousins for about 5 hours and then I came home and worked on my curtains. I put some new ones up. I kind of gave them my own touch though... but eventually I'll put up even better curtains. After that I took in some jeans because they were too baggy on the legs. I messed up and so they're half way finished..XD One leg came out too tight. I hate having to rip seams...T________T

Ohh my slushie is all ready. Yay. I'm going to go now.

I haven't worked on anything lately.

I'm kind of on a break or something like that. I haven't been able to fully function enough to work my machine that well so I'm keeping my fabric in its bag and yeah. This means no Sac Anime.

I've been going through things, as my personal blog says and so I haven't been doin' much. I'll be okay....though.

I really miss my fiance and I'm trying to find a job and my place in the world. My belief in God has pulled me through this, well not the belief in Him. Just that He has helped me, Himself.

I will be better again and I will be better than EVAR D:!!

I just want to apologize that I won't be updating this much with any cosplay stuff.
So...I'm sorry :[

MONEY~!!!!!!!!

I've been making some money lately and it feels good. I don't even want to spend it! It's in the bank now and I feel at ease. I have some in my piggy bank too. I'm really happy people like what I make and want to buy it! I recently sold one of my bags to someone in New York! Maybe this is a way of getting my designs out. I don't know ^-^; I just love design and making things. It's not something I could live off of (not right now anyway) but it's definitely a way to earn money while I don't have a "real job." My family has been helping me too. They give me their clothing to fix (like aunts and uncles..). If I fix my mom's, I don't charge her at all. She's giving me a dang place to live!

Aside from this, I've been growing closer to God again and I feel like myself again. I've been struggling with some anxiety/depression so I went back to my bible reading and encouraging music. It has definitely been helping. I just need to find a home church I feel really good in. You wouldn't believe how different churches can be and how hard it can be finding one! o-o; Ahhh.... I've been missing Robby a whole lot too. Sometimes I wish I had friends around here who were either engaged or in a long distance relationship, like mine..and by "like mine" I mean they've been with the person for quite some time. It gets rather difficult..and it's good to see other people being strong in theirs too.~ I think the only reason, aside from our strong love, is that God has helped Robby and I through our tough times and we've survived! Ahhhhhhhhh how I love Babidee soooooooooooo much and I love God soooooooooo much for blessing me with Robby. (Babidee = Robby XD!).

^___________^ Soooooooooo anyway. Today I already ran some errands. I sent off some stuff, sent off a letter to Japan and then put my money in the bank. I am tempted to buy a wig but I think I'll wait until I get even more money and know I can afford to buy it and some other things. For now I'm going to save my money. :] Meaning---AVOID BURGER KING O___O!! Small meals, and cheap things do this thing we call...ADDING UP..... I had less in the bank than I thought and I looked at why...and it's because I bought food here and there. =__= When I could have waited until I got home!

Meaning I feel like talking about anime, games or something..

not always accepted by the "normal" world.

Ahem. Sooooo

I've been watching this anime called Clannad on Netflix.

Unforunately it is dubbed not subbed but I deal

because I am too lazy to always try and get comfortable

watching it on my laptop. I like the sofa OKAY?!?!

I also don't like moving my laptop from the desk

because he is comfortable on his desk

and when I move him I have to

unplug ALLLLLL his USB connections

and then he freaks out and loses internet

connection.

I don't know. He wasn't originally mine so I'm not sure

why he works this way. Must be a power setting =__=

Anyway~!!!!!!!

So I've been watching this anime and it's actually pretty interesting.

Doesn't seem like a "typical anime". It has its moments

but for the most part there's a pretty good story line and the characters

are fun to get to know. It really revolves around this guy who kind of has

nothin really goin' for him at home and his past is a bit hazy but instead

of being some bully at school he actually starts to try and make friends

with some random girls at the school. The thing is, the girls are a bit weird..

Only like two of them appear to have a normal life. The others he ends up kind of helping

with whatever problem they're having at school or with the past... There's like one who is

actually the spirit of a girl who's in a coma, then there's this chick who everyone thinks is like

a robot because of her stregnth and she likes to walk around in a bear suit. Then there's Negisa who seems very weird but ends up being a very sweet girl and joins Tomoya with trying

to get the drama club going. Well, the drama thing starts to get Tomoya (the guy sorry XD) to get more involved in their lives and they become friends.....and like I DONT KNOW. I suck at explaining things because there's all these details in between....bleh. It's interesting though.

I've been told to keep watching it because it gets better. I'm on episode 14 right now. The first story arch is only 24 eps, then there's the "After story" which is 24 eps too.

I don't know..it's weird and it has some fantasy in it, like the story of the girl and the robot in this whole other world going on... (like the photo).

There's not a lot of action in it...except when Tomoyo (the tough girl) beats the crap out of people. Kyou is also a hostile girl...she's hillarious though. XD. Then there's another girl who

is a dang genius but her social skills are hoorrrrible..so they try helping her.

Yeah. I pretty much failed trying to explain this. I suppose I will leave you with the ending song..

There also isn't much romance in this. Not yet anyway. It's mostly about friendship, strong bonds between people, fantasy..some suspense and maybe a little drama, but not much.

Meh. I like it. :]

Oh and I finished this other one called "Chance Pop Session". It's about friendship, sisterhood and music. It was actually cute and short (13 eps)

(Usually you'd see little dangos but it's Pika in this one! XD)

Parties~!!!

Soooooooo I went to a pool party on Friday. It was very fun!

We even had a fire at night so there were yummy smores involved.

On Saturday we made this funny D.gray-man skit on video and it'll be

up on Youtube sometime this week. I HOPE!

Then today I went to a party at another friends house and

they had LOTS of food. They are portuguese so it's in the blood

to cook, cook and COOK yummy food. My friend's dad made these

DELICIOUS PORTUGUESE DOUGHNUT THINGS.

O____O It was heaven in a few bites.

I had like 4 or 5. I don't remember. I wasn't even hungry. They were too good though.

I had a blast though. We were out on the dock with some friends and family members (all around the same age..early-mid twenties) and we were playing this number game.

It's kind of hard to explain on here but it was like "Big booty". Anyway! We were all cracking

up and having a really good time! I finally got home a little while ago. I feel tired now.

As for any "Bad news"...uhh I'm thinking about Sac Anime and wondering how I'm even going to afford it. =/ I really don't know at this point. I feel like I shouldn't be using what little money

I even have. I still have no job because I am slackin!

I think I've been going a bit over board on cosplay too. I've been wanting to make WAAAAY too many costumes. I know I want to, but themoney is unfortunately an issue and I really need to calm down with it all. I have 4 new costumes I want to make for Fanime and I think that is all I will buy anything for. I already have all I need for Fado, I don't exactly have all I need for Luxray but I might just paint my body where the blue shows....I kind of like the idea of that but I don't know. I DON'T KNOW. O___O We shall see about that idea later.

ANYWAY! I'll list character names of all I will work on from now until Fanime. They won't exactly be in the order I'll be making them because I usually work on a few at a time!

(Thanks Ne-chan for the post, helped me kind of calm down with the cosplay thing too.) I love cosplay but...I honestly do need to relax before I'm broke and also too busy to find a job.

Looking for a job and finding discouragement.

Is one of the hardest things to do these days...and it sucks. It's hard NOT to be discouraged when you live in a small town, can't afford to buy a car on your own and "Now Hiring" is a rare site to see.

I'm not completely discouraged otherwise I wouldn't be turning in these 4 applications tomorrow, but I do feel a bit down when I look at them. I realise how bad I messed up by not trying to work as soon as I got out of High school. I feel like I have truly failed myself. I wish I could even get a dang cleaning job, it's something I wouldn't have to look that good for but an area I know I could do well in and earn some experience/money through it. :[ Blah. I know, I'm just complaining...and there are worst cases than mine but I just can't help but vent out these feelings!! I know this is suppose to be about a cosplay thing.......but whatever. I'd like to make more costumes and even earn some money in that area since it's what I want to do. I want to be a designer...*~* But that's later...after I get through the "crap jobs" and earn my way up.

Ahhh.....I wonder if there are many like me with no good work experience, trying to find a job. :[

Even with schooling on the papers, most jobs want to see experience...not all that you know. -sigh- and it's hard to get experience when they're wanting one who already has it..especially at my age. Grrrrrrrr. I screwed up in my life already. (.____.); God help me.......

So I'm back from Ani-Vent. More like I've been back! There isn't TOO much to say. I had a nice time but I really felt I was dying in my outfit. I don't handle heat well at all anymore. I get too hot and start getting grumpy. :[ It sucks. I still had fun being Lavi with my friends as Lenalee, Allen and Kanda (YUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!). A tiny part of me wishes I had gone in one of my other outfits that I worked harder on, because I was doing a cosplay panel and felt kind of bleh up there in something I halfway bought. Another part of me wishes I was in a FREAKIN BIKINI---because it was DAAAAAAAAAANG HOT XD. The panel went well I think! People told us that they enjoyed our panel and a lot of people attended it too! O___O I was kind of nervous at first.....

Ahhh....next time, if it's a hot event I will choose one of the swimmers from Pokemon like my good friend Amber did for her Santa Cruz gathering which I wish I had been able to attend and she looked darn cute in it too. :) But...I am still going to cosplay as Lavi. He's fun to be...

I also really want to cosplay Squalo now.. (Reborn)*~* He's such a loud brat. Not the Kanda kind of brat... He's just a loud, high-tempered Italian mafia guy with gorgeous long white-silver hair *~* I plan on using the wig for more Ayame costumes too! I love crossplay...almost more than cosplay but I will still be girl characters---they have too many ADORABLE OUTFITS!

Man I use the shift key a lot.. I LIKE TO YELL CAN YOU SEE?!?!?!?! It's the enthusiasm in me. ;) Okay well uhhhhhhhhh I'm going to go. Miam's going to bbq up some tri-tip.. ;)

Hehe. I love wigs. I REALLY do. I believe they chan either make or break a cosplay. Seriously. Investing in wigs is a REALLY good thing. Even though they may cost a lot, there are sites that offer very good prices such assss.......---> http://stores.ebay.com/CosplayDNA-Wigs-for-Cosplay & http://www.epiccosplay.com/ . They have awesome wigs for prices that definitely are cheap considering the QUALITY you are getting. Sooooooo, I definitely recommend them. Anyway. Wigs can make you look so different, thus...making cosplay so much better when you own them. I agree, contacts can really help a costume out but the wigs definitely take the cake. They are what people might see first. Now I'm not saying you suck if you don't have one, I'm just merely sharing some cosplay advice for all you cosplayers who read this or just happen to read this. ^___^; If you have any questions on wigs, please ask me. I will be happy to answer your questions.

I'd really like to get more into styling wigs but it can be quite frustrating. Ahhh....anyway. That's it for my random tip-blog thing. :3 I don't normally do this but I find it fun!!

It actually kills me that I'm not at Anime Expo this year.

It's depressing!

What's funny though is that my monthly thing is late again (I'm just not regular anymore it seems!)

and it'll probably hit on the 4th of July..Last year it hit the day of AX. XD

Sooooo yeaaaaaah.

I just wish I could have gone this year. I loved Fanime and all, but one big con a year is not enough for me. I love it too much to just be happy with that.

Luckily, Sac Anime looks like it will be a definite thing so I'm looking forward to that! I'm also looking forward to our D.gray-man night this Friday and Ani-Vent next month.

It looks like quite a few friends from everywhere, even the bay area are going to it!

If we get enough people to go we can earn more money..and then it will encourage more people to go next year. This year could be the last year it is held because the host is moving away. :[ I don't even know if I Should tell anyone but yeah... Unless people take his place, this won't happen again so I REALLY hope we can get enough people to go to the con. SO PLEASE GO!

Hi Everyone~!

Just reminding you all about next month's AniVent. It will be a small convention but it will be one none-the-less and I am super excited about it.

I no longer "plan" to bring my Luxray but there's still a chance I might bring it...or something else. I have a lot of brainstorming to do with that costume so right now I haven't even been working on it, to be honest. T___T; Ahh but I will do it eventually. What I have been working on though is Lavi's shirt and wig. I need to finish recoloring it and then finish touching up the shirt I bought. Most of the costume will be bought but alternated..since it's casual wear from the manga.

n_____n Sooo I won't be all crazy/hardcore for this event and I'm pretty happy about it. It means I can run around like a crazy Otaku. I hope I don't get fangirled... I mean a little attention is nice but a lot? Oy. :O! The reason I say this is because D.gray-man is kind of popular and even when my friend went as Yuu Kanda to the Ani-Jam picnic...she stepped out and some girls were like "Yuuu~!!!" XD So now that we'll actually have the 4 friends from the show...it'll be interesting to say the least.

Ahh...now moving onto what else is next. I'm still putting off the Fado costume that I want to take to Sac Anime. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to afford Sac Anime. I still desperately need a job but I SHOULD have one by then if I keep trying, right? Maybe I'll even borrow money to go. I really want to go. =(! I will work and clean houses if I need to..or babysit, ugh~ I just know I want to go and that PikminLink will be there and she asked me to bring my Agitha costume. :D Seeing as she is one of the cosplayers I favor, I will most likely bring it. I also want to walk around in the evening as our D.gray-man troupe..in our pjs that will have a touch of our personality to them. Hehe. ^____^

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everyone. Long time no--post? I apologize. AGAIN.

I don't think I will apologize anymore. Just don't expect many post like I use to have up!

So what has been up with me? Well not a lot exactly. I've been active on other online sites but I just haven't been in the blogging mood. Since it would be too much to write about how I've been personally I think I'll just inform you all on what's going on cosplay-wise?

ANI-VENT! This is a 1 day con/event going on next month in Fresno, CA. I've been asked to be a guest and do a panel on Cosplay so that is what I will be doing! I also asked to have 3 other members of my group with me so they will be joining me in the panel. What are we cosplaying you ask? Well unless I decided completely that I won't be wearing Luxray (Due to weather or something, I don't know) I will be Lavi from D.grayman all day! Kay-chan will be going as Yuu, Ne-chan as Linali(Lenalee) and Aoi kun as Allen Walker. :] We'll all be wearing the casual outfits they wear in the manga so it'll be comfortable! Later on though for like next year, we'll wear the 3rd uniforms of their's. Even though we won't be all "hardcore" I Am SUPER excited for this. I've really grown close to the character and my friends have gotten good at getting in character. We have so many videos we want to do. xD It's not even funny....well maybe...maybe it is.

If any of you guys live near Fresno or something you should go! You can seee usss and we'll totally LIKE HANG OUT. :O But uh yaaaaaaaaaaaah...........................that's next month. July 17th. Saturday. 10am. Fresno Fairgrounds. Be there. D:

I had a photoshoot yesterday. It was really windy though so I had to keep fixing my hair and wings. I still had fun though. My sister was the photographer, isn't she great? :D Kay-chan was there too, she was filming....totally pulling off her Tomoyo cosplay, except in regular clothing! Hehe. But yaaaaaaaah, it was great.

I love my Princess Agithat cosplay A LOT I just hate how it takes a while to get into it because of all the details I have to becareful with and the ones I need to add on after putting on the dress. I'm not sure what con she will be going to next, it might be Sac Anime...or it might just be AOD or something. I'm not sure ^___^;

For now though I have some other costumes to work on so she will stay safely hidden in my closet of costumes and junk. I seriously need to clean that thing out. :(!

Hi guys!

^~^ I'm sorry for my lack of posting, and I know I always apologize like this too... but I really AM sorry! I've been busy and lazy, yes, lazy..... but here I am now with some cosplay updates!

Even though Fanime is over until next year there are still costumes I want to make! This summer I have only 3 in mind and that is Fado, Luxray and my Sand Bender cosplays. I'm pretty excited for them and all three of them combined will still cost less than my Princess Agitha costume XD

I won't need to buy any new wigs, my friends have offered to let me borrow their wigs. :) Which is nice of them, and they're always welcome to borrow my wigs or even costumes...!

My Princess Agitha - Complete!

Okay. Wow. Where do I start...?

The con itself was great. It was just as friendly as the last time I was there, if not friendlier, the costumes were amazing and I saw a big variety of them. I got to meet so many friends of mine that I had only known online and I even was surprised to see a few of them there. I'm so happy I got to go, it was one of the greatest birthday gifts..ever!! D:

Debuting my Princess Agitha was great. So many people liked it and I was very happy!! It showed that my hard work paid off. The Zelda gathering was THE MOST AWESOME gathering I have ever been to. There was such variety and so much creativity in it. I've never had so much fun at one gathering. It was great. I also got to meet my faaaavoorite Zelda! She's so pretty and so sweet, she was there with InkyLink. :] Here's a pic of us!

As for the Masquerade? I'd say we did well on stage. We were so nervous though, most of us anyway so when I saw the video of us I could tell. I think next time we'll need to move a bit more and not look so bored with ourselves. I think we forgot to think about how we looked on stage infront of people.... in our minds we were just thinking, "DONT MESS UP!" heheheh. Ah well, it was fun and I enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy the stress part of it but next time we WILL BE PREPARED. We'll know what to expect so we won't be too disorganized or late with practices/showing up.

Ahh...there's so much I can say about Fanime but I really don't feel like writing it all. I had a fun time and that's what matters. I advise anyone who loves anime cons, to go to Fanime. It's a great experience and I know you'll like it! =)

Alright, I'm going to FANIME!!!!!!

Okay, maybe not this second but I will be at 8am tomorrow!!

For some reason I am really anxious/nervous about this trip. I'm not sure why.. I mean I feel as if something will go wrong or I'll get bad anxiety there (cause mine acts up..due to slight..disorder). I dunno though O______O I'm just praying we'll all be safe and have fun. - prays -

Everyone else is nervous. We're actually competing and we're hoping our costumes survive the trip up there. We have so much delicate stuff this time u_________u;;

Aside from thaaaat... I'm good. I'm going to shower then head to Kay-chan's!! We're gonna have MilkSHAKEZ in honor of Fanime tomorrow.

Yeah. So I'm pretty much finished with my stuff. All I need to do now are touch ups. I need to touch up my wings, touch up Mercedes' top..and Agitha's top. Thaaaaaaaat's all folks!! XD

Ahhh. I also need to write down a list of what to pack. I'm going to be taking 5 costumes. 4 of them I kind of planned, 1 is for a friend to borrow during the Zelda gathering but I also might wear it (it's Dark Sheik) on Friday evening so I can snag some pics with InkyLink because he has an awesome Dark Link. :DDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and he's traveling from like the East....so it's a rare occasion ~!

I wonder what the stage looks like, I've only seen the stage they use to use in that one building.

Oy! I just turned on my phone cause it died and I got like 2 messages each from 3 of my group members..who all seem to need my help! I feel bad though.. I have to go to a graduation today, out of town..like an hour away. I don't want to go, but I already said I would and my family is all close 'n stuff..so it looks bad if we miss out on things...especially when they went to both my graduations. BLEGH. I'm bringing my Pokemon game. I hate sitting through graduation ceremonies. :(!!!!!!!

Anyway, I need to go and work on stuff for like an hour then get ready. Freakin' cheap. :[ Talk about bad timing.

Okay. So I don't feel that crappy, which is rare but it happens and I'm so glad. Ahem, as many of you may remember I was worried about a little present from mother nature not arriving before Fanime... well it HAS so I am GLAD. :D!!!!!!!!!! I won't be bloated, sick, cramping and worried in my off white costumes this weekend. I'll be okay. w00t. So that's some relief off my shoulders!

As Blanche always says, "Better late than..pregnant!" Ahem..ehh..if you don't watch Golden Girls then nevermind XD!!!!!

Alright so I am pretty much DONE with Agitha's outfit. All I need to do now is run down to the hardware store and buy some grommets for the back of the dress because I ran out. I also need to add the anklets she has goin' on and theeen add the butterfly wings to the back of her dress. I think I'll just use velcro, so they can just kind of stick to my back... o.O; They're really light weight seeing as they are only craft foam. The other butterflies along the front will be safety pinned to the front. This way I won't have to worry about ruining them when the dress is packed away in it's plastic dress protector thing... they'll be put away in something else.

I have a feeling that this week is going to fly by really fast!!! O_O; Are you guys ready for Fanime? It's this Friday. -PEES-

Hi everyone...

I know I calmed down on the daily posting. I have been kind of busy and kind of sick. Stress has caused me to get headaches and bad..digestive..stuff. Heh. Blegh. I'm okay though, I just have a lot on my mind and only half of it is about cosplay. Unlike the stereotype, my life isn't just about this awesome hobby...I have bills and jobs to think about too.. (e_e) which sucks.........most days.

Umm..I'm not sure what to write about today, I'm again, not feeling too well. I did some work on my crossbow though so I will show you that and I'm almost done with Leafeon. I might work on the tail today...I don't know. I have so much to work on so I don't know what I want to work on first. :P

How are you all doing? Who's going to Fanime? It's like NEXT FRIDAY, less than 2 weeks away. Anyone freaking out? Cause I sort of am........................

Less than 3 weeks until Fanime? Like PikminLink just said today... Fanime really HAS creeped up on us. I fortunately can say I got some work done today! I painted the designs on to top part of my Agitha dress, added the grommets and painted any areas where the paint had chipped off whenever I had punched them into the fabric. I also finished the light blue part of the skirt/dress so now I need to paint on the designs! Yay fun! Yaaay..not...really..no.

I also kind of dyed my hair but it is not obvious..Only in the sun or looking up close can you really tell I added burgundy to my hair. The brown roots took it well, the faded black/dark brown? No. :[ I should have already guessed, I dunno..

Cosplay Stereotypes...?

These stereotypes are not to be taken seriously. My replies will be in normal font. There are more stereotypes but I think these are really the big ones.

• "Cosplayers cannot have a normal social life."
I have a very normal social life, in my opinion. Sure, I may not go out as much as some others but cosplay is not the reason, no car is my reason! I've been fine going to college, hanging out with friends, going to family events without even mentioning cosplay.

• "Cosplayers never have boyfriends or girlfriends, or are not suitable boyfriend or girlfriend material."
I don't have a boyfriend. I do have a fiance though and I think I'm quite suitable to be a fiancee. So clearly, some cosplayers are suitable?

• "If you cosplay, you must have other stereotypically 'nerdy' hobbies like band, theater, Dungeons & Dragons, or Star Trek."
I didn't know DnD was a hobby or Star Trek? :P I was in drama, art and Band in Highschool but if you're smart you know that those are all in the field of art and I am indeed in love with art. If music is geeky, then ditch the ipod dumby! I think it's awesome to have "nerdy" hobbies...so of course I'm going to do all these sort of cool things. They're only uncool in your book!

• "Cosplayers are all devil-worshippers."
......................Now I know some people cosplay characters that might somewhat portray the devil or a demon but most of them do it without really thinking about the religion part. I myself am a Christian but I cosplay! I know that there are sometimes gatherings for Christian cosplayers too! I think it's awesome. We are not devil-worshippers. -___________-; Nor do we even worship anime!

• "All cosplayers have poor hygiene, are unhealthy & acne-ridden, and live in their mother's basements."
I have some acne (like most human beings) but everything else. No. I live in a room and I like showers. I can kind of see where this would come from because unfortunately at cons I smell a lot of people who don't bathe. I honestly don't know why but a lot of anime/otaku people around here..seem to not shower. I personally don't understand why... but not all cosplayers are this way. =/

• "Cosplayers are mentally unstable and think that they are an anime character."
I don't think we think we ARE the character but when you're in costume you just feel like the character so you tend to act like it? It's like drama. Oh and I think it is awesome when people do get into character! Most cosplayers think they are the character? No, but if they portray them well..then they've chosen the right character. It's a compliment.

• "Cosplayers are 'weeaboos', want to be Japanese, and use random Japanese words and phrases whenever they can."
I hate, hate, hate the term "weeaboo." On top of being insulting, it's hypocritical. "You're a weeaboo because you use random Japanese words." Isn't that what you just did..? <--- I have to agree with Amber. I though would like to be Japanese only because I love their eyes and language...I love their straight black hair and colorful culture but I know I am not. Nothing is wrong with admiring and wanting to learn a language. People have to learn English! You going to call them names? No you pick on those who don't learn it! Cosplaying does not mean you want to be Japanese, it has nothing to do with race. It's about getting in costume and expressing your love for the character or just playing around~

• "Cosplayers are all immature."
If immature is knowing how to sew, make a replica of a weapon, style a wig, spend lots of money on a convention and be responsible about it is immature then yes, I'm immature. But seriously? There's always going to be the immature and mature no matter what kind of group you're talking about.

• "Cosplayers must love hentai, and their costumes are part of some sick sexual fetish and they want to dry hump everything they see."
Whoa whoa whoa. Where did this come from? We're just people dressing up in costume.

• "Only certain ethnicities can cosplay well."
Not necessarily. Though I do go by looks when finding a character... but there are all sorts of characters that are different ethnicities. Everyone can cosplay and should be able to cosplay!

Hey there guyz..

I apologize for my lack of blog posts. I've been busy hanging out with my cosplay group because Fanime has creeped up on us quite quickly it seems and we have a lot to work on! Like this past weekend we had to get together and work on things, we also had to work on our skit for the masquerade. Ugh. Saturday is going to be freakin' BUSY...but I think we will survive. A few of the members are nervous about getting their costumes done right in time but I think we will all finish. We always seem to get everything done by the time the con actually comes around so..I have faith in all of us.

I'm pretty excited about doing a skit but I'm also nervous ^___^;; It'll be awesome though. I really think people will like our Odin Sphere group :) We've been putting a lot of dang effort into this so DANGIT WE WILL BE AWESOME...well to ourselves anyway........ Oh and from what I've seen there isn't an actual Odin Sphere gathering, which is fine because we'll practically be the gathering with 10 people in our group and evvveeryyyone will be an Odin Sphere chatacter. W00T!

Can't wait, can't wait...caaan't wait -dances-

Oh and I also can't wait to see PikminLink again, Jin, InkyLink and Catz~ Because they're awesome and I love 'em! ^_________^

I got to go try and work on some things now! I also have some art pieces to finish for the fair :[ Due by Friday. Uaaaaghh!!!

I shouldn't be awake. I should sleep, but instead I'm up.

I actually am tired though..I did cleaning, started on a drawing for the Fair's art show thing and then worked on cosplay... What did I get done you wonder? Well.........

I finally attached the red ball to Mercedes' outfit. I made the bugs that go in the jars out of air dry clay so tomorrow they should be dry enough to paint. I also...cut out the wings for the back of Agitha's dress and started painting layers of glue on to harden the craft foam. Mmm I finished the blanket for the basket today too except I was WANTING to add lace along the bottom but all I could find was an off white lace. She actually has this weird..kind of..thing going on along the edges of the cloth but I'm not sure what that's all about so I'm not doing it.

Ahhhh...I went through some of the boxes I have in the garage. They're full of the stuff I use to have at my dad's until he moved. :[ Now I have tons of stuff in boxes and there's no room in my room here at my mom's... ;/ bleh.

Wow. I did not mean to rhyme but whatever!

Soooo I'm kind of....FREAKING OUT HERE.... but that's normal when you have like 50 things to do for 2 costumes.

Yeah, only 2. If only they were simple...... but noooo, Agitha has so many tiny details that in order to even know how many she has you would have to analyze a photo of her for like....10 mins. I know some characters are worse but believe me, she's still complicated. Most of the stuff is stuff that doesn't exactly exist. Her pattern for the dress does not exist. I'm talking about the weird swirlies on the dress, the weird bug jewelry,the weird off colors, the jars she carries. Yah.....sooo guess who gets to paint that on with a made up stencil and fabric paint =D!!!!!!!!!! Yay me!! -_________________- I also have the rest of her dress to sew, there's like layers of stuff....and details too.

-Sigh- Her butterflies took like 3 hours just to paint several layers and add the detailed dots on there. I had to have a few colors out so I could use them all while I painted. I couldn't go fast either because as much as I WANT to rush.. I can't afford to because then it'll all look like crap. :[

-breathes- I won't even get started on my Mercedes costume.

Okay. I lied. I will. I need to make her giant crossbow AND wings...from scratch. No base wings pre-made or whatever..... and then I need to redo some of her costume because it bugs me how wrong it is. :( I won't have contacts for her either because I'd have to get my eyes checked ANd then buy the contacts on top of that. It would be around $100 without my insurance and stuff so yaaaah.....not happening anytime soon.

.________. -cries a little inside- I have a few weeks left...and this all must be done. Not just done. Done right. Everything takes long. The day is already ending and all I did was the butterflies and stuff. I'm not stopping now though. I'm going to go back to the basket for Agitha and work on that then make some of the bugs that go inside the jars. Yep...

Pysphers: To Glow or not to Glow?

The answer is. To not glow. Due to stress and lack of time/money...we have decided to hold off the glowing part of our Pysphers. Right now we have too much on our plate as it is and need to work on what we really DO need finished for fanime. Our psyphers will unfortunately not glow this time!

We're all signed up for the Masquerade and will be #25. I'm pretty excited!! Our skit is already written out and we'll probably be practicing it by next month. Everyone has a lot to finish before the end of next month. It's going to get hectic in May but I have confidence that my cosplay group will pull through and we'll all look awesome by the time Fanime actually rolls around. O___O WE WILL BE EPIC. Okay, I don't know if other people will think so...but in our opinion? Epic. Who wouldn't like a group of 10 people, one stuffed animal mascot (Beetithy) all cosplaying from Odin Sphere? It truly is an amazing game and I hope our expression of love for it, really does show. :]

I've really gotten back into Pokemon, if you haven't noticed. It all started when I tried out Pokemon Diamond. You see, I stopped after Silver. I stopped playing most handheld games period. While in Texas, Robby gave me his nice DSlite he never plays and let me have it. Along with it came some games! First I was playing Spirit Tracks, which I need to finish and then along came Pokemon and I tried it just for the heck of it. Minutes turned to hours, and hours..days. LOL.

Yeah. I love playing pokemon games. Our little town even has a new game store with games and I went over there yesterday to check it out. Robby bought us a game called RedSteel and Pokemon XD (Gale of Darkness)... It's okay for a gamecube game..~

I can't wait until I can make more pokemon gijinka costumes!

The next ones will be: Abra, Mudkip and Finneon...most likely.

Hey guys!

So I don't have much time right now but I want to apologize for the lack of posting lately. On my birthday, April 8th, I tried to log-in into my gmail account (which is connected to this) and I couldn't! It wouldn't take my password, so I tried resetting it but I couldn't remember the answer to my security question. I figured my email was hacked and I could no longer access my blogger or youtube account T__________T It made me cry. After filling out a form and stuff, complaining to Google I received an email on my yahoo account telling me that my form was denied and I didn't have enough information about my account to prove it was MINE. Grrrrr........ Sooo without giving up I tried the security question again and changed one letter in it..according to how I word things and it worked! I was sooooo RELIEVED. Seriously.

Anyway. I really got to go!!!!!!

Lately I've been really thinking about what other costumes I want to bring to Fanime, aside from Mercedes and Agitha.

Right now I am thinking...Leafeon is a DEFINITE possibility (seeing as I have all the material I need for the outfit) and now I'm thinking of cosplaying the Poe Merchant from LoZ: Ocarina of Time!

I bought some brown stretchy, brown fabric that was on sale today for $4! I also bought a zipper I needed for like $0.97. Pretty good deals. ^~^; I plan on making my gloves for Agitha with the brown fabric. I just need to learn HOW to make gloves first. I'm a little nervous but I'd rather make them than pay like $15 bucks for gloves that I'd have to alter anyway! -_-; Now that I have fabric I can make some and have enough for my Leafeon cosplay too. I plan on making the hand-paws and feet-paws with them. It'll be cute----I hope! XD

So my hard drive FRIED...or something like that. I kept it in its case while using it (External hard drive, mind you...) and apparently I wasn't suppose to but I thought I was...so the stupid thing over heated and died.

u__u I was in the middle of a project too! It said something about an error..and a crash and I restarted the computer. Luckily the laptop I'm on is fine, it was just my external HD that died... :[

I won't be working on any cosplay today, I don't think. I just want to play more Spirit Tracks (Yep! I finally have the game in my possession...). It's such a fun game. I love Zelda.

Alright, so the pieces for my psypher are all cut out but nothing is put together. Robby and I figured it would be much easier if I just took them back and then glued everything together whenever I got home. Unfortunately it was taking a little longer than he thought to fix together all the LED stuff so he's sending that part to me in the mail when he finishes it. We had lots of fun and didn't get as much cosplay done as we said we would but whatever...there's still some time!

I'll be going home tomorrow. I'm anxious about it but I'm sad because I have to leave Robby... (._____.) I have an ugly feeling inside just thinking of how I can't wake up and see his handsome face every morning. I'll miss him...but I know once we're both not busy again we will be together.. I know we can get married and then just be together but I don't want to do that. I can't even afford a wedding, so what makes me think I can handle a marriage? No job. No nothin'! Okay, so I'm not really sure if I ever made this official on here but it IS official that I will be a guest at the upcoming "Ani-Vent" a convention that will be held this July in Fresno, CA. I have been asked to be one of the guest and hold my own Cosplay Panel!!!! I got SUPER excited when I was asked and totally accepted the offer! It would be pretty stupid if I didn't, duh!!!

I also have been asked to be a judge at the masquerade so I'm just like...really overwhelmed. It's not even like a HUGE con but it's still a con and more people go to these Fresno conventions because there really isn't anything else in this lame valley I reside in. Ah! Oh I also asked if I could have my own table in the Artist Alley and they said sure! So I will be selling some cosplay accessories and other things there ^~^ Yay for making money, right?

Aside from thaaaat, and my apologies if I already bragged about this. I don't MEAN to brag...I am just so excited and can't believe people would want me to be a guest XP. I guess I just put myself out there a lot and am very social ^~^!

It's been really nice spending so much time with him now

that he isn't in the navy. He treats me with so much love and respect.

I often feel I don't deserve him, but sometimes I do...

because I love him so much and have been so faithful.

He has helped me with my cosplay and supports the hobby I love most.

I know, I know...I have a lot on my plate right? Wrong. D: There's still a third day that I'd like to have a cosplay for..or I could wear one twice but I like having a new one for everyday! I'm thinking I could still possibly make my Pokemon Gijinka cosplay, like some of my friends plan on doing. At least, I think they're still doing...

There's also another character I might cosplay as because Robby's mom gave me some fabric that I could possibly use. ;D! I haven't told anyone about this nor have I given much hint towards it so we'll see.

On ANOTHER note I have a green wig now so I'm thinking I could totally do a Saria cosplay! ^~^ All I would need to make is like a vest-ish top, shorts and then wear a dark green sweater underneath and add like a green boot cover to some cheap boots. My wig might not be THAT accurate but a lot of girls have done different tones of green because its dark in the artwork and like a brighter green in the actual game.

For Leafeon...I could either copy the exact design from the artwork I've chosen or just kind of do my own thing because Pokemon Gijinka is just a human form of Pokemon so you can do your own thing really! :3

But yah...I'z crazy, I know... but I can't help making more cosplays!!!lol

I got some work done today:
-Finished the other pleated sleeve for Mercedes.
-Cut and sewed the obi/wrap for Agitha.
-Cut out the dark gray detailing for Agitha.
-Sewed up some areas that were just pinned on Agitha's dress top.

Did more sewing and worked on my psypher today! Got the top 4 triangles done for the diamond-like object...and tomorrow we'll probably work on it some more. I do plan on taking some pictures tomorrow of what progress I have done so I will show you then.

Till then..I'm SUPER excited for Fanime. I can't believe we have like 2 months & 24 days left! Our Odin Sphere group is going to be so amazing. I'm so happy! D: We'll have...

Soooo I really, REALLY want this. I plan on earning some money after I sell a wig or two so

hopefully I'm able to afford this beauty! ^~^ I think it will really fit for my Princess Agitha one so....I hope I can get it O_O

Okay so I went to Mizuumicon today right? Robby's first con my 7th one.

It was okay. Pretty small but still okay. I just wish I had a costume!

People walked around and I was treated normally.

IT KILLED ME INSIDE...just a little anyway.(T_T);

Yeeeeeeeep. I got a bit of progress done today!! Robby's mom let me use her sewing machine. She also gave me this hand sewing machine thing...for like emergencies (convention problems!) so I thought that was pretty cool.

^~^ Oh yeah, aside from getting progress done on Agitha's dress, I found some shoes for my Mercedes cosplay! w000h000! I found them at Wal-Mart. I was going to buy them and then Robby said he would just pay for it.. I don't know why... It might have been because I was getting some bad anxiety and he probably felt bad. I don't know, he's really nice though T-T

Tomorrow I'll try and make a video. I don't know though because my cousin who lives here in Texas will be coming to see me. D: So yah. We'll see! Good night.

I love them. I miss them. I hope they aren't having too much fun without me! I know, I know "So then just go back...". "It's not that easy right now, aside from needing to buy a plane ticket ahead of time (for it to be cheaper), I also don't want to leave Robby either. I'm really having a nice time getting to know him even MORE and spending lots of time with him in a living kind of environment. It's a good thing for me to be here to really see if I could stand living with him. So far there have only been some little things I see myself not liking, and they're stupid things like...he says "Really?" All sarcastically A LOT to bad drivers and his games, but it's better than him just cussing stuff out (cause that would REALLY irritate me.) He also has certain ways of doing things, but I've learned to just share how I do it and then we just do whatever seems more convenient. The great thing is, is that he's really good at making up for things he has done..that has hurt/upset me. I like making up too, I can't hold grudges against anyone for that long! He doesn't call me mean names either, the most he'll say is I'm being mean or bratty lol. Which I tend to be sometimes T___T;

Anyway...Reading some of the stuff my friends have posted lately has made me really miss them so I figured I'd put it in here. I'm talking about my cosplay group friends. I love them! Even if we don't ALWAYS agree on things or certain cosplay suggestions we're a pretty interesting group and everyone does sincerely care about each other. :] It really is a family! lol

I will be very happy to see them and all their awesome progress when I get back next month! :]

I'z adding ANOTHER character to my future cosplay list. She's so adorable! Her name is Alisa Boskonovitch.

About her:
Alisa Bosconovitch is a new character that is set to appear in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion and in the console version of Tekken 6, along with Lars Alexandersson. She is an android created by Doctor Boskonovitch able to sprout wing-like jets from her back allowing her to briefly fly at great speed during fights, sprout chainsaws from her arms (this is one of her stances, "Destroy Form"), and remove her head during moves such as one of her grapples, "Head Explosion". She has pink hair and green eyes.

I finally got to go to JoAnn's and what's even better is they were having a sale on some of the fabrics, so I bought some cotton for the green parts of my Mercede's costume for like $2 a yard! I got like 8 bucks worth of that..and then I got 1 yard of off-white stretchy fabric($8/yard) for the midsection of my costume..actually more than a yard, but the total was like $18 all together with tax. I hate stupid tax! -_-; but whateverrrr.....I'm happy I have the material, and all the needed stuff for my psypher to glow red. :]

We also found a Japanese grocery store. It was cute and looked new. I got some Ramune, Hi-Chew and an off-brand box of "pocky". The lady working there was pretty and seemed pretty happy to have us in her store. She had her hair dyed and contacts...I think she was trying to be more American. I wonder why though, the Japanese are already pretty to meeee.. *~* Anyway! I liked the store! I want to get a job soon so I can buy my own stuff to make Japanese food or something. They had lots of neat ingredients. I have some applications I picked up...but I don't know. I'm thinking I might try and find something closer here, and temporary since I will be going back to CA.

No JoAnn's today.. Oh well! Went to Ross and Wal-Mart. Didn't buy anything though, just followed Robby's sister around as she bought Valentine's stuff for her kids.

I haven't been doing anything but following Robby around and stuff. Eventually I will have to work on my cosplay stuff. I need more money though, so I'm lookin' into getting a job while I'm here. Probably like a house keeping kind of thing. I'd prefer that over a stupid food job. UGH. It makes me sick thinking of a fast food job. ;[

Sooo, I haven't been able to do any videos either for my cosplay youtube, which SUCKS! I really want the Mino FlipHD. It's smaller than the Flip Ultra, but the quality is the same as the Flip UltraHD! I'm more concerned about quality, more than the size of the screen... IF I have nice money though I may just get the FLip UltraHD!! XD Heheheee. I want that AND a dress form. Then I will be a happy camper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! n____________________n

Anyway...my baby is playing with his new PS3. I am happy for him. He isn't a huge addict for games, he plays for a while then does other stuff..so I am fine with it. We both have our own stuff we like to do (I like games but I love the internet too..xD)

So Robby has been saying, "I could be this guy, or this guy.." and what I'm talking about is COSPLAY!! He might be joking, I don't know...but the thing is...he chooses animes I don't like ;__; Like Bleach and YuYuHakusho! T-T; He's saying he would want to cosplay Renji or some other guy from Bleach, and um...Yusuke from YYH. I don't know about Yusuke, cause he looks short and stuff and I hate YYH XD...but meh. Cosplay is about fun, so if he had fun cosplaying them I would just be happy for him!

Anyyyywaaay, when the weather gets better we'll work on my weapon for Mercedes. I also need to check out that sewing machine his Nonna has. Hmm...(o.o)

Oh and I haven't found a JoAnn's yet, but I'm pretty sure they have one here or something. I'll ask my friend, Catz.

Lowes..and stuff!

Went to Lowes yesterday and bought acrylic sheets for my psypher. I think it will look nice! We also got some LEDs, a wire and a switch. I am glad Robby was here because there were small parts we needed that I had no clue what they were. Heheh. :3 We're both pretty excited about making it. He said he could easily help me make the whole bow but I won't be here long enough I don't think and I don't know HOW I would transport it to CA. XD

I haven't done any sewing yet but there is a sewing machine here. I need to find some nice scissors and work on my stuff a little. Right now Robby is working on his car so I'm just inside on the laptop. It's kind of cool outside so I think I'll put on a sweater. Who knew it could get cold here? :P

OH! I also need to take a pic of my Mercedes shirt soon so I can show progress =P

But ya. Going to go now. I feel better, but uhhh I am so busy here. D: I also want to visit my friend Catz, who cosplays too. I only know her online but she lives here in the city. :D

...Rofl. You're probably wondering what's up with the title. Well it was what I first read when I checked my messages on cosplay.com. Some guy saw I was moving to TX eventually and decided to "hit me up" on there. It was just him asking if I was going to San Japan (A 3 day con in San Antonio, TX)..and that I'm from CA for "no wonder im a cutie" >.>; I was like "Uhh..heheh. Yeah, I will be going with my fiance :D" Heheheeeee..........~ But yeah, I don't mind getting compliments but saying "ur a cutie, i'd love to meet up with you" is not what I want to hear...and I'm not available XP

Anyway! Asiiiide from that. Hello! I am in TX right now. I've been busy and not been online much (obviously). Not much has happened cosplay wise. The day or so before I left I made the blouse part to Agitha's dress...and then while I've been here Robby bought some parts for my psypher(sp?) for my Mercede's crossbow~ Today we're going to buy the plexiglass that we'll be using to cut into the diamond shape and then add a small hole to slip the LEDs in. :] I'm really excited about this...I'm glad Robby wants to help. He's even taking me to this Asian Culture festival on the 20th and then Mizumi-con in the 27th. It's a small con and I have no costume..buuuut it'll still be fun being with Robby and checking out the little event.

....blegh, I'm kind of sick today but I want to feel better so we can go to Home Depot and Wal-Mart soon. ;(
